Word of the Lord for 2025

We’ve given up so much ground to the enemy in our societies. However, I hear the Lord say that, “In the midst of the battle, this is going to be the year of turn-around.” Since 2020 the Lord has been pruning and purifying His Church. Now He is training our hands for battle so that we see supernatural turn-around.
Esther, a key example for a turn-around year
The decree calling for the extermination of the Jews that Haman had gotten the king to sign was already sealed with the king’s signet ring and it looked like all hope was lost. However, as Esther and her maids fasted and prayed, God turned the situation around miraculously and allowed the Jews to strike their enemies.
Esther 8:8 – 11 (NIV)
“Now write another decree in the king’s name in behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king’s signet ring—for no document written in the king’s name and sealed with his ring can be revoked. At once the royal secretaries were summoned—on the twenty-third day of the third month, the month of Sivan. They wrote out all Mordecai’s orders to the Jews, and to the satraps, governors and nobles of the 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush. These orders were written in the script of each province and the language of each people and also to the Jews in their own script and language. 10 Mordecai wrote in the name of King Xerxes, sealed the dispatches with the king’s signet ring, and sent them by mounted couriers, who rode fast horses especially bred for the king. 11 The king’s edict granted the Jews in every city the right to assemble and protect themselves; to destroy, kill and annihilate the armed men of any nationality or province who might attack them and their women and children, and to plunder the property of their enemies.”
This is a year in which we can expect to see God’s miraculous turn-arounds in all areas. As we pray, fast and then act, He will move. 5785 is a year in which no situation is going to be hopeless.
Time of war intensifies
Psalm 18:34
“He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” (NIV).
In 5785, the time of war that we are in will intensify in 5785. This time, the enemy is not just out for spiritual war, but also physical war. Over the Middle East, I hear the Lord say: “It is time for Israel to deal with the 10 sons of Haman (Esther 9:7, 12).” Israel, do not stop striking until the terrorist organizations in your region, and the states that sponsor them, are neutralized.
I see Vladimir Poetin poised with his finger on the nuclear button. Wage war against war in your prayers! Russia is ready to escalate its war against the Ukraine and expand it to the NATO nations. It is critically important that we pray that God would restrain Russia so that it cannot pounce and use nuclear weapons.
I hear the Lord say, “This is the year of turn-around for Taiwan. It may have to fight. However, if Taiwan will continue to humble herself, pray and call on the Lord, He will grant a great deliverance.
Discernment and bold proclamation; 2 key weapons of warfare
This year, God will emphasize two key weapons of warfare. The first is discernment (both spiritual and natural) and the second is radical worship that births bold proclamations.
The weapon of discernment. It’s the ability to be able to tell what is good and what is bad. What is from God and what is not. It is also the ability to be able to see ahead, to know what’s coming from the enemy and to shut it down. Discernment will be a very necessary and powerful weapon of warfare this year.
Worship. There is a sound of worship that is changing the atmosphere. There will be a rise of prophetic proclamations and declarations in worship. These will change the spiritual atmospheres over our nations, regions, our lives, over our families and our businesses so that the darkness breaks and God’s light comes.
Prayer alters
This will be a year of prayer alters. I see prayer alters being raised up in families, businesses, homes and schools. Everywhere. This will help to fuel the turn-around that God has planned for this year. Isa. 60:3 starts this year with the turn-around.
A time of judgement
This is good news. In Matthew 13 Jesus talks about the fact that while the farmer slept, the enemy came in and sowed seeds that did not belong in the field. He sowed weeds. The Lord of the Harvest told the workers not to pull up the weeds at this time, but wait for the Harvest when things are full grown. Then it will be time to pull up the weeds. Weeds symbolize, among other things, those who God has spoken to repeatedly and who have hardened their hearts. We have moved from pruning to exposure to judgement. Judgement belongs to God. The hopeful thing about this is that weeds get pulled up at the time of the harvest. In the midst of confusion, violence and war, God is going to have His harvest. His word is, “I will have My glory.” “I will pour out My glory.”
At this time, we must allow God to deal with the things in our hearts that He is showing us. It’s because of the glory that’s coming. If we don’t, the glory will destroy us. BUT GOD. He is saying, “This is the time for the greatest harvest that the world has ever seen.” And this is an invitation from the Lord Himself for us to come closer so that we can be filled with the glory. The glory will lead to miracles that we have not seen before.

It’s a time of judgement, but it’s also a year of glory. This is the time of Isaiah 60:1-3. Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Vs. 3
God will raise up His people with solutions. Many do not know what to do and this year, as it is the year of the turn-around, God will place us in situations where those around s do not know what to do. This woman’s husband and children were praying in tongues while she was giving the baby heart massage. And the child came back to life. She was able to use her skill set and give the child heart massage. When others don’t know what to do, God will give you wisdom that will change the situation because it’s the year of the turn-around.
Conclusion
In the midst of the battle. In the midst of war, we will have to act. Yes, we are saved, and now it’s God’s time for the world. This is going to be a year in which we learn to fight. This will be a year in which the Lord strengthens our arms to bend bows of bronze. And this will be a year in which God gives us supernatural weapons of warfare – discernment to help us identify and take out the strongholds of the devil. This is why it’s going to be a year of turn-around. We’re going to see strongholds broken in our homes, families, strongholds of sickness, unbelief, of lack. This is the year for the turn-around.
This is also the year to take bold steps of faith. Jonathan and his armor-bearer in 1 Sam. 14. This year, faith in God will be expressed in the steps of faith that we take in obedience to the word of the Lord. This is the year in which we rediscover courage and what it means to be brave. It’s a year for bold steps of faith. It’s a year to open our mouths and proclaim, not judgement, but the will of God – for our nations, for our lives, for our families. We are still in the decade of pey. It is the decade of the mouth. It is the year of the declaration. This year, discernment will combine with declaration so that we get paid back double for what the enemy has stolen from us. Exo. 22:7. [Write it out].
This is the year we will see God shine on an international stage. And this is the year we’re going to see God shine in our lives.
